Air Date: Feb 1st 2007, 9pm

Whether you are a die hard fan of OCC or have run across their show while flipping through the channels, you probably know a bit about the Teutuls from the hit TV showAmerican Chopper which now airs on TLC (The Learning Channel).

Creating art in motion from raw materials, their work is not only at home in a Museum and an art gallery, but also in your garage. Shawn had the opportunity to work with two of the biggest stars of the show, the four-legged ones, Gus and Marty. Gus and Marty are two very large Bull Mastiffs weighing in at over 135 lbs each.

After surviving a life-threatening bout with canine parvovirus, at less than ten weeks of age, Marty had to catch up socially with the rest of his family. Shawn was called in to help socialize Marty in public as well as teach Marty manners at home. Shawn's work with Paul Sr. and Beth taught Marty basic commands and exposed Marty to life outside of his home which has greatly improved Marty's outlook on life.

When Marty was on break Gus was in the spotlight as Shawn gave both Paul Sr. and Gus a refresher course. Gus is the kind of dog that will follow through with a command but would often "talk back" with a thunderous 'WOOF' every time he would sit or down.

Shawn's experience working with the Teutuls lends an answer to the question you may have seen on the side of OCC's vehicles, "have you ever".

Shawn continues to train with Gus and Marty keeping them in tune and up to date on behavioral issues in the Teutul home. Tune in to American Chopper on TLC (The Learning Channel) at 9pm Feb. 1st to watch Shawn work with Paul Sr., Beth, Gus, and Marty.
